How to Rig

The CritterKeeper is for mounting the head of any plastic bait with the hook point skin-hooked like a "Texas-Rigged" worm. The skirt covers the hook shank and bend while leaving the plastic bait on top. This allows for an extremely weedless jig without the use of an ugly weed guard. This idea has been in development for some time now and has been tried and proven by several of the regions top anglers. We are offering several jig types; finesse jigs, flipping jigs, football jigs, swim jigs, skirted grub heads, Critter-Shaker jig heads, and now hard to find 5/0 and 8/0 weighted Swimbait hooks.
For anglers who like to use pork trailers, just rig a plastic worm on the keeper and bite it off long enough to reach the hook point. Put on your pork and skin-hook the plastic over the hook point. You can change the color of the plastic to give a different look to your jig.
Each of the finesse and grub heads include Mustad ultra point, round bend, black nickel hooks. The flipping, swim and football jigs include Mustad ultra point, extra wide bend, black nickel hooks. All include a tough powder paint finish on the head, but not on the hook eye, and premium silicone skirts in a good selection of fish catching colors.
